"Actually it was not a crop, it was a t-shirt. I was in a tight economic situation and my friend and I said, "If we can't buy a crop, let's make a crop". We cut my t-shirt and made it into a crop.

 

I wore it like a uniform whenever I went to my friend's house. They must have felt sorry for me because they bought me a crop and skirt for my birthday. But this crop turned from a t-shirt has a very special place for me."
